Install
Download and run the Patrick desktop app, and add your AI key.
Patrick is currently an unsigned Windows desktop app (the alpha).
Windows only, for now
The alpha ships as a Windows installer. macOS and code signing come with the beta.
Download the installer
Grab the latest installer from the releases page.
Run it (past SmartScreen)
On first launch, Windows SmartScreen may warn "Windows protected your PC" — click More info → Run anyway.
Add your AI key
Patrick uses your provider key. In the app, open a profile and paste it:
Get a key from the Anthropic console, then Profile → AI → Anthropic → paste your key.
Your key stays on your machine and talks only to the provider you choose — you pay them directly, usually pennies per response.
